Programming the GEM630MCT Meter from ID1 to ID2

Overview

Meters can be configured with IDs 1–8. ID 1 monitors the main grid; ID 2 monitors an external PV inverter or device.

Steps to Change ID

  1. Press and hold ENTER until the password screen appears.

  2. Enter password 1000 using arrow buttons ▲ ▼ to select digits.

  3. Hold ENTER to confirm.

  4. Scroll to the ID page using ▲ ▼.

  5. Press ENTER to edit.

  6. Set the ID value:

    • 001 = ID1 (Grid)

    • 002 = ID2 (PV string)

  7. Hold ENTER to save.

  8. Press FUNC to exit back to the main display.

Tips

  • After programming, power-cycle the meter.

  • Confirm new ID by scrolling through display pages until ID number appears.
