Why does my battery percentage look wrong?

Sometimes your battery’s state of charge (SOC) shows sudden jumps or drops. This doesn’t mean the battery itself is faulty.

  • Older firmware versions (3007/3008/3009) misreported battery percentage.

  • The issue is most noticeable at very high or very low charge levels.

  • A firmware update (3015 or later) fixes this problem.

Solution:

  1. Update to the latest firmware.

  2. Run a battery calibration (full discharge → full charge).

Troubleshooting:

  • If you’re already on firmware 3015+ and still see issues, a calibration may be all that’s needed.

When to Contact Support:

If your battery percentage remains inaccurate after an update and calibration.
