How does GivEnergy calculate battery percentage (SOC)?

Your battery’s state of charge is calculated from voltage markers inside the pack.

  • 0% = lowest voltage, 100% = highest voltage.

  • Several markers in between allow percentage calculation.

  • Over time, calculations can drift, leading to sudden corrections (jumps).

  • New firmware versions improve this calculation.

Troubleshooting:

  • If you see unexpected drops, it may just be a recalibration event.

When to Contact Support:

If SOC readings remain unstable after firmware updates.
