How to Wire the GivEnergy LoRa Data Cable

Overview

This guide explains how to correctly wire the GivEnergy LoRa Data connection between the inverter and the meter for Gen3 systems.

Correct wiring ensures stable data communication and prevents signal loss between devices.

Wiring Instructions

  1. Connect the LoRa A and B terminals as follows:

    • Inverter + → LoRa A

    • Inverter – → LoRa B

  2. Connect LoRa to the meter:

    • LoRa A → Meter + (Terminal 10)

    • LoRa B → Meter – (Terminal 9)

  3. Colour convention:

    • Use white for A and colour for B.

    • The actual colour is not important as long as the convention is consistent.

  4. Important:

    • Use only one pair of wires for the connection.

    • Do not split across multiple pairs.
