Why does my battery drain below the reserve?
Your battery is designed to stop discharging to your home at around 4% reserve. However, it may still dip lower — this is normal and safe.
-
The last few percent are kept for the battery’s internal systems.
-
If the battery reaches 0%, it will attempt to recharge from the grid to recover its reserve.
-
This behaviour protects the cells and extends battery life.
