What your GivEnergy system does for you

Your new GivEnergy system is designed to help you save money and reduce your carbon footprint by making the most of cheap and green electricity. It does this automatically once installed and connected.

Your system works in three main ways:

  1. Time-shifting electricity – Your battery stores electricity when it’s cheap or clean, and uses it later when costs are higher.

  2. Maximising self-consumption – If you generate solar power, your battery stores excess electricity so you use more of what you generate instead of exporting it.

  3. Supporting the grid – With the right setup, your battery can help stabilise the grid during peak times, earning you money in the process.

Troubleshooting:

  • If your app shows unusual behaviour (battery not charging/discharging as expected), check your tariff and mode settings.

When to Contact Support:

If your system is not charging or discharging at all after installation.
