How to change your Wi-Fi settings after replacing your router

If you replace your router, your inverter may go offline.

You have two options:

  1. Quick method – Set your new router’s SSID and password to exactly match your old router. Your inverter will reconnect automatically.

  2. Manual method – Follow the reconnection steps (see “How to reconnect your GivEnergy system to Wi-Fi”).

Troubleshooting:

  • If devices still won’t reconnect, reboot the inverter and router.
